    Birth12

The only record found that lists Eliza's birth year while she was living is the 1891 census. It states that she was 30 years old in 1891 making her birth year 1861 and that she was born in New Brunswick, with both parents born in New Brunswick. However the same census also lists her husband Fred 9 years younger then he is.

Last Thursday evening as Mrs. Fred. Robichaud was going home towards the east end of Chatham she was attacked by a pain in the heart and could barely go into Mr. Beott’s house on Water St. near the ferry, where she died in a few minutes, before a doctor could reach her. Her husband is a poor man who is ill and out of work and has nine motherless children left to him, the youngest being only about three months old. It is a very sad case.
