One clue to a link between the Dullerton and Sandville Hasletts was found in the substantial number of Hazletts (Hasletts) who attended the First Donagheady Presbyterian Church over a long time. Matthew Haslett, Sandville, attended the Presbyterian church known as First Donagheady, which was located in the townland of Altrest. There he probably met his future wife, Sarah McCrea of Ballyheather, who was born circa 1781. During his lifetime, and later, several Hazletts (Hasletts, including Dullerton Hasletts, attended that church, and probably they all were part of one extended family. Church records, provide by Sydney Browne and Faye Logue, contain names of Haslett pew holders from 1 804 to 1861: Name of Pew Holder Years Pew Held Identification Matthew Hazlett, pew 57 1804-1809 1 772 -1843 (Sandville) (formerly held by Andrew Haslett) Alexander Hazlett 1804-1821, 1830,18 34-1846 Samuel Hazlett 1806-1826 Jacob Hazlett 1829-1836, 1841 -1850 1783-1850 (Dullerton) William Hazlett 1837-1840 John Hazlett 1847-1861 1 807-1891 (Dullerton) Andrew Hazlett, pew 61 (1856-1857) 1844-1861 James Hazlett, pew 32 (1856-1857) 1851-1861 1 822-1876 (Dullerton) John Andrew Hazlett 1858 James Nutt, pew 28 (1856-1857) Data from Alfred Haslett: Marriage of Jacob about 1818?
